The Grand Electric is located in Surry Hills where there is limited street parking available. The nearest streets with street parking are Pitt Street (2 hour parking until 10pm every day) and George Street. There are disabled parking bays at 103-109 George Street and 10 Pitt Street. The nearest parking garage is Wilson Parking – 55 Holt St Surry Hills, which is an 10 minute walk.

About the event

What can I expect from the show?

Expect a cheeky and chaotic circus cabaret for the young and young at heart. This immersive stage cabaret throws open the doors to Wonderland and invites you into a riot of tricks, tumbles and topsy-turvy fun.

Ringside VIP Table of 4 Tickets include a high-tea full of delicious treats, mocktails or cocktails. You can also purchase treats at the venue in addition to your ticket!

Where is the event located? The Grand Electric is located at 199 Cleveland St, Surry Hills NSW 2016.
Does the event take place in an indoor or outdoor venue? The experience takes place indoors at The Grand Electric. However, the Courtyard Bar, open before and after the show, is located outdoors.
How long does the show last? The show runs for 60 minutes.
Will food and beverage be available on site for purchase? Yes. The Courtyard Bar opens 60 minutes before showtime, offering everything from cocktails, mocktails, beers and wines, to a selection of high tea goodies.
Is there parking available? There is no on-site parking at The Grand Electric. We recommend using public transport or ride-share services for your journey.

About tickets

Where can I get tickets?
Can I purchase tickets at the door? Tickets can be purchased on the door prior to the start of show time. However, tickets may be sold out by the time you arrive at the event, so we highly recommend you book your tickets in advance in order to guarantee your spot. You can purchase tickets via the Fever App (available on Google Play and the [Apple App Store](<>)) or on the Fever website.
Can I transfer my tickets to another person? Yes, you can transfer your tickets to anyone for free. It is as easy as clicking "Transfer Tickets" on your ticket in the Fever App. Please contact us if you need additional help. Make sure to include your ticket order number.
Do I need to print my ticket? You can find your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever app (you can download it from Google Play and the [Apple App Store](<>)). Please remember to log in with the same login method used to make the purchase. You will also find your QR code in your purchase confirmation email.
I can't find my ticket. What should I do? You can view your ticket in the Fever app, within the “Tickets” section. If you don't have the app installed, you can download it from Google Play or the Apple App Store. Remember to log in using the same account that you used when buying the tickets. If you still cannot find your ticket, please contact us.
Can I change the date of my ticket? Are refunds allowed? Subject to availability, changes of date and/or time are permitted up to 48 hours before the start time of your event. If you would like to make the change, please contact us and include the ticket ID associated with your purchase. You can also check if this option is available by consulting your ticket in the "Tickets" section of the Fever App where, if enabled, the "Change date and/or time" button will appear. Follow the steps indicated in the link to change the date and/or time of the ticket. Refunds are not allowed, except as required under Australian Consumer Law. For more information, you can consult our T&Cs.
Do I need a ticket for a baby? Babes in arms, aged under 24 months, may attend for free provided they sit on the lap of an adult. All other children will require a ticket.
Can I bring a pram or stroller? Yes, you can bring a pram or stroller to The Grand Electric, but you will be unable to take it inside the theatre. Limited pram and stroller parking is provided at your own risk in the Courtyard Bar area.

About access to the event

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the show to give yourself plenty of time to grab a drink, settle in, and soak up the atmosphere. The Courtyard Bar opens 60 minutes before showtime.

Late arrivals may be held at the door and admitted at the discretion of venue staff to avoid disrupting the performance.

Can I bring animals? Are service dogs allowed? Service animals are welcome at The Grand Electric. Please note the show includes loud sounds and theatrical effects, which may not be suitable for all animals. If you plan to attend with a service animal, click here to contact us in advance so we can support your visit.
Is the venue accessible?

The Grand Electric has level access to the main theatre space from the street. However, due to the heritage nature of the building, there are no accessible or ambulant toilet facilities on site.

Do you offer carer tickets?

Guests requiring assistance throughout this experience are entitled to one free pass for their personal assistant/support worker. Please contact us here with proof of a companion card. Once we receive this, we will provide you with a voucher that you can use to purchase your free carer ticket in the Fever app (based on availability).

Please keep in mind that you will have to show the regular ticket with this carer ticket when entering the venue.

Is the event accessible for deaf/visually impaired people? Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is a visual and aural performance. While we currently do not offer interpretation (e.g. Auslan) or audio description services, we encourage you to please click here to contact us in advance so we can provide advice specific to your needs.
Will there be strobe lights? Mad Hatter’s Tea Party features haze, moving lights and theatrical effects as part of the immersive experience.
Will toilet facilities be available on site? Yes, toilets are available onsite. Please ask venue staff for directions. Note: accessible toilet facilities are not currently available, and there are no baby change facilities.
Can I take photos or record the event?

Photography and video are permitted, but flash photography is strictly prohibited.

Please note: filming and photography are not allowed during scenes featuring mild nudity. Please follow directions given by the venue staff at all times.

Is there a Lost & Found? If you’ve lost something, check with venue staff during the event. If you're unable to ask in person, click here to contact us.
Is cloakroom service available? No, cloakroom service is not offered. Please only bring items you can comfortably carry with you. Limited pram and stroller parking is available in the Courtyard Bar area.
Is there an age requirement? Mad Hatter’s Tea Party is suitable for all ages. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
What are the prohibited items at the event? The following items are not permitted:
